Adam Milford: Theatre Practitioner

Since I was 16 I have worked in all areas involved in the creation of theatre, some amateur, some in training, though mostly professional.

Most of my professional experience comes from my work as the director of Theatre Workout, for which I have produced hudreds, if not thousands, bespoke theatre workshops and events in the West End. I have created exclusive education programmes for major West End productions, developed experiential events and assisted in unique activities covering a broad range of performance skills and social themes.

Partner shows in the West End have included: All My Sons, An Ideal Husband, Birdsong, Carries War, Chicago, Dirty Dancing, Ghost the musical, Hairspray, Joseph, Disney's The Lion King, The Lord of the Rings, Love Never Dies, Singing in the Rain, Sister Act, The Sound of Music, Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, Zorro and more.

Having worked in multiple roles within the creation of productions, both in the subsidised and commercial sector, I am ideally placed as a freelance producer and practitioner to advise other theatre and artistic creatives in how to develop, promote and make the most of their work.

Finally, I have trained with some of the UK’s most innovative theatre companies, practitioners and industry professionals including 1157 Performance Group, Fecund Theatre, Frantic Assembly, Stomp, the RSC, The Circus Space, Laurie Sansom, Stephen Jeffrey, John Godber, Complicite, John Wright, Glen Walford and Compass Theatreand have experience working with the producers of Rediculusmus and 1927
